Estuary Skirt
The Estuary Skirt is a beginner-friendly, body-friendly skirt pattern that you’ll feel like wearing every day of the week. It’s an easy to sew A-line skirt with patch pockets (View A) or in-seam pockets (View B) and a comfortable elastic back.
It can be sewn with a full button placket or with a faux front placket, simply sewing the buttons through all the layers and omitting the buttonholes. The skirt can also be lengthened or shortened to your heart’s content.
Sewing Level: Confident beginner
Sizing: Approx. 8 - 28 (0 - 30). Please see measurement charts in images.
Fabrics: Woven
Medium weight linens, cottons, rayon challis chambray or light denims.
Fabric Requirements: See images. Note if you want to lengthen the skirt additional fabric will be needed

- 5/8" - 3/4" buttons
- 1/2 yard interfacing
- 3.8cm (1.5") wide waistband elastic (see pattern for amount: 11" - 33")
- 4 yards of 1/4" wonder tape (optional)
