The Free Range Slacks are casual, comfortable, and timeless high-waisted pants with your choice of a wide or tapered leg. These are a great casual trouser, but definitely not just for wearing round the house!
They're an easy wear, with the wider elastic waist meaning you'll be comfortable all day. Especially well suited to linen, but they can be made in many different fabrics lending all all-year-round use to them.
There are two options - tapered and straight legged, cropped versions. Both have an elastic high waist, side panels, topstitched front pockets, and optional back patch pocket(s). The instructions include options for French and flat-fell leg seams.
Sewing Level: Confident Beginner.
Sizing: Approx. UK 6 – 22 (0 - 20) and UK 18/20 - 36 (16 - 34). Note the overlapping sizes are not quite the same as they have been drafted from different blocks. Please see the designers size guide in the provided images.

Bottom weight fabrics with some drape such as linen, cotton/linen blends, cotton twill, linen/viscose blends, light to mid-weight denim, lyocell/Tencel twill, cotton poplin or wool gabardine.
