The Regalia Blouse has plenty of gathers, puffy sleeves and high collar, but still manages to look effortless and casual. The roomy fit of the bodice makes it a comfortable wear. It pulls on over the head and ties at the back keyhole opening.
You can add an optional tulle sleeve head pouf to add a bit of volume to your sleeves.
The blouse has two lengths and two sleeve options giving flexibility for the make. The fabric choice will allow you to decide how dressy you want this blouse to be.
Length #1 - cropped hem
Length #2 - "tuck-in" length hem with optional waist tie
Sleeve A - gathered at shoulder and narrows at wrist
Sleeve B - gathered at shoulder and gathers at cuff
Sewing Level: Intermediate
Sizing: Approx. UK 6 – 22 (0 - 20) and UK 18/20 - 36 (16 - 34). Note the overlapping sizes are not quite the same as they have been drafted from different blocks. Please see the designers size guide in the provided images.
Fabrics: Woven
Lightweight woven fabrics such as cotton voile, gauze, lawn and light-weight linens.
Just be aware that looser weave fabrics such as gauze and linen will result in a slightly looser fitting blouse.
