The Wren is a button-front blouse and mini dress. The mini dress has a dropped waist with a gathered skirt and is loose through the waist and hips.
There are two statement sleeve options: a short sleeve with a puff cap and elastic hem, and a long sleeve with a cuff.
Sewing Level: Intermediate
Sizing: Approx. UK 8 – 28 (US 0 - 30) . Use the high bust and full bust measurements to determine your size. If you fall between sizes, size down.
This pattern includes two bust cup options, and the cup size is determined by calculating the difference between the high and full bust. If the difference between your high bust and full bust is between 0” and 2” (5 cm) use the A/B cup. If the difference is between 2” (5 cm) and 4” (10 cm) use the C/D cup. If you have more than a 4” (10 cm) difference, you may need a full bust adjustment.
Fabrics: Woven
Light to medium weight wove such as rayon challis, rayon crepe, rayon voile, cotton lawn, cotton voile, cotton shirting, linen, double gauze. Use fabric with a good drape for View B (mini dress) if possible.
